The Beethoven Spa building is a part of the historical heart of the city. It originated through a sensitive, architectonic joining of the different, original spa buildings. It is located in a peaceful area of Teplice, surrounded by an extensive park. The nearby Sadové (Orchard) Spa building also belongs to the Beethoven’s Spa.

Treatment

The Beethoven Spa is above all specialized in treatment of the locomotive system, post-traumatic conditions and damage to veins, nerves, bones and tendons.

The range of treatments in the Beethoven Spa involves teaching people the right kind of life style and preventing diseases according to the latest knowledge of world medicine.

Methods of Treatment

Rare thermal waters with a temperature of 39° C, which have already returned health to afflicted persons for 2,000 years, are the main source for medical procedures. The springs are of a hydrogen-carbonate type with fluoride content and with large quantities of trace elements including rare elements.

The main therapeutic procedures are thermal baths and motion treatments under water. These are supplemented by forms of hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, magnet therapy, physical therapy, gas injections, mud wraps, acupuncture and therapeutic medications. The building houses a rehabilitative thermal pool with counter-currents, floor whirlpool massage and side massaging jets. A new feature is the use of pulse signal therapy treatment.

This spa building is also equipped with ECG, X-ray and all necessary medical and diagnostic equipment.

Accommodation

Our guests have 193 single and double rooms at their disposal. They are equipped with a shower, toilet, telephone, refrigerator and television with satellite programs.

Board

A spacious cafeteria serves the guests of the spa. Meals are prepared under the supervision of dietary specialists and are rounded off with an offer of vegetable salads according to one’s own selection. Buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner is available for a fee. Upon request meals may be served on order.

Beethoven Restaurant

The Beethoven Restaurant invites guests to sit down and enjoy Czech and international specialties; its offer includes diet and vegetarian meals. The restaurant interior makes it a comfortable environment for business negotiations, company presentations, social events and family parties.

The Beethoven Restaurant belongs to the AirRestaurant family. Its customers may collect miles within the CSA Airlines OK Plus program. Miles are awarded for each expense higher than CZK 500.00. To collect your miles, just submit your OK Plus Card when paying.

The impressive Emperor’s Spa building is situated in the centre of the town. The building historically ranks amongst the oldest spa buildings in Teplice. The Emperor’s Spa houses the CLT Clinic, equipped with state-of-the-art medical and diagnostic equipment. Recently the spa has gone through a comprehensive reconstruction including building a new rehabilitation thermal pool.

The spa building is named after the Austria Emperor Franz Josef, who was treated here.

Methods of Treatment

The basic aid for treatment are curative springs discovered by the ancient Romans over 2000 years ago. The unique natural mineral water at a temperature of 39°C is a warm, sodium bicarbonate type which contains fluoride and a large amount of trace elements including rare metals.

CLT Clinic

Emperor’s Spa houses the CLT Clinic, which includes professional workplaces of nearly all branches of medicine. Besides sophisticated spa treatment care, we have also prepared specialised programs and services for you, which you may undertake during your spa stay. Programs are conceived in such a way that they do not interfere with your spa procedures.

These programs include especially a laser centre, screening programs (which determine your current state of health during a single morning) and beauty programs (cultivating the modern woman’s / modern man’s beauty).

The Stone Spa building itself was established in the year 1911 and is built in neo-baroque style. It has been reconstructed several times during the years, the last reconstruction taking place in 1998. The Stone Spa currently offers comprehensive care based on many years of experience and tradition in treatment. The Jirásek spa building belongs to the precinct. The spa is surrounded by the greenery of a large park.

Treatment

As with the other Teplice Spa buildings, the Stone Spa mainly focuses on treating afflictions of the locomotive organs. The main domain of care is post-operative conditions following orthopaedic surgery, above all following artificial joint implants. Presently the most common is implantation of artificial hips and knees newly also artificial shoulder joints. The results of the post-operative treatment in the Stone Spa are very reassuring and our clients benefit from it by having a shorter period of convalescence and a quick return back to their normal life.

• rheumatic arthritis
• scoliosis, radicular syndromes of a vertebrogenic nature
• post-operative and post-traumatic conditions of the locomotive organs, osteoporosis

Methods of Treatment

Maximum effects of the spa treatments secured mainly with thermal baths and motion therapy in thermal waters. Supplementary forms of treatment include electrotherapy, magnet therapy, laser therapy, gas injections, thermal water procedures or acupuncture. You may relax in comfort during your favourite reflexive, classic or underwater massage or during bubble baths, including whirlpools.

Accommodation

The Stone Spa offers 46 single and double rooms equipped with a shower, toilet, telephone, refrigerator, radio and satellite television. You may also find comfortable accommodation in the Jirásek Spa building, which is only a mere 100 m from the main building.

In Addition – Jirásek Spa Building

The Jirásek Spa building, which belongs to the Stone Spa, is located less than 100 metres from the main building. It houses 48 standard equipped single and double rooms. Treatment and board is secured by the Stone Spa.

Who are we and what are we dealing with?

Nové lázně is a medical institution and a spa facility for children and provides complex treatment of all kinds of diseases affecting the locomotor system of clients up to the age of 18.

What do we offer?

Individual specifications of the curative programme for each of the clients that would:

• reflect the current state of health of the client;

• achieve the  curative intention of the physician who indicated the spa treatment;

Direct participation of clinical specialists from the following fields of medicine - neurology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, psychology and speech therapy - in the treatment of clients in all indicated cases. 

Curative Applications of the Teplice Thermal Mineral Waters from Pravřídlo (the Ancient Thermal Spring) and Hynie, which have a strong analgesic and healing effect  tested by more than  a 900-year-long experience.

Sophisticated Rehabilitation Procedures. Among other also Vojta, Bobath and Kabat methods, the synergetic reflective therapy, myofascial techniques and some other.

A Wide range of Additional Curative Procedures. All types of electrotherapy, laser therapy, classic/manual massages, ergo therapy, thermotherapy and some other procedures.

Direct Cooperation with the Institute of Hand and Plastic Surgery in Vysoké nad Jizerou, which enables to apply the corrective diagnostics and treatment of deformities of the upper extremities to our young clients, including the early and specific application of rehabilitation to our patients´ post-operative conditions.

Accommodation and Catering Services

Accommodation and catering is provided in Lázeňský dům Erben (the Spa House Erben), which is located approx.  250 m from the Nové lázně building. It is a facility where all children accompanied by adults are accommodated. The age limit of children is governed by the decision of the medical assessor of the Health Insurance Company.
