Who are we and what are we dealing with?
Nové lázně is a medical institution and a spa facility for children and provides complex treatment of all kinds of diseases affecting the locomotor system of clients up to the age of 18.
What do we offer?
Individual specifications of the curative programme for each of the clients that would:
• reflect the current state of health of the client;
• achieve the curative intention of the physician who indicated the spa treatment;
Direct participation of clinical specialists from the following fields of medicine - neurology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, psychology and speech therapy - in the treatment of clients in all indicated cases.
Curative Applications of the Teplice Thermal Mineral Waters from Pravřídlo (the Ancient Thermal Spring) and Hynie, which have a strong analgesic and healing effect tested by more than a 900-year-long experience.
Sophisticated Rehabilitation Procedures. Among other also Vojta, Bobath and Kabat methods, the synergetic reflective therapy, myofascial techniques and some other.
A Wide range of Additional Curative Procedures. All types of electrotherapy, laser therapy, classic/manual massages, ergo therapy, thermotherapy and some other procedures.Direct Cooperation with the Institute of Hand and Plastic Surgery in Vysoké nad Jizerou, which enables to apply the corrective diagnostics and treatment of deformities of the upper extremities to our young clients, including the early and specific application of rehabilitation to our patients´ post-operative conditions.
Narrow Cooperation with Leading Clinics (Teaching Hospital Motol and some other) that enable integration of special medical procedures into balneotherapy in the course of the medical/curative stay in the spa. A Complete Consultation and Advisory Service for Parents in the area of social and legal services for families taking care of a handicapped child.
Accommodation and Catering Services
Accommodation and catering is provided in Lázeňský dům Erben (the Spa House Erben), which is located approx. 250 m from the Nové lázně building. It is a facility where all children accompanied by adults are accommodated. The age limit of children is governed by the decision of the medical assessor of the Health Insurance Company.
